ANAVETs Organization Donates to both Hospital Sites

On Thursday, April 25th, MHC was the recipient of a $2,000 donation from members of the ANAVETs (Army, Navy, Airforce) Veterans Association.  The ANAVETs organization is the oldest active veteran’s organization in Canada.  The local GROUP,  Branch 176, Manitoulin and North Shore has 29 members. 

Proceeds were raised selling homemade cinnamon buns at the local Farmer’s Market in downtown Little Current last summer.  The donation was made in memory of their departed Comrade Gary Trimmer but also in gratitude for services provided to all veterans at both hospital sites.
