Chemotherapy

The chemotherapy program, a satellite of the Northeastern Ontario Regional Cancer Program, is located at the Mindemoya site and is dedicated to providing accessible services, close to home.

Patients receive initial assessments and treatment in Sudbury and may be referred to our program based on eligibility.

Helpful Advice

  • You will be contacted about your first appointment and scheduled for treatment

  • You may be required to have blood work in advance

  • Bring your health card and insurance information

  • Upon arrival, register at the Admitting office

As cancer patients undergoing treatment have weakened immune systems, they are vulnerable to viruses and infections. Make sure to wash your hands or use hand sanitizer when visiting.

If you are accompanying a patient to their chemotherapy appointment and you are unwell (cough, cold, flu, etc.), please reconsider your ability to accompany them or take necessary precautions to keep your loved one safe (wear a mask, wash hands, etc.).
