POSITION SUMMARY
The Registered Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for diagnostic imaging sonographic scanning.
QUALIFICATIONS (Education, Certifications, Experience, Licensure)
Required:
- Registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO)
- Professional Liability Insurance
Preferred:
- Current registration with Sonography Canada
- Previous experience in a hospital setting
- Experience in performing ECGS & Holter Monitors
- Radiography qualifications

- Knowledge and proficiency in quality imaging

- Knowledge and proficiency in ultrasound probe disinfection
- Proficiency in computer software applications: Microsoft Platform, Meditech
- Community Wide Scheduler, PACS, Learning Management System
