Food Services Aide - Casual

POSITION SUMMARY: 

 

The Food Services Aide is responsible for preparing and serving all three meals to inpatients during shift, stocking vending machines, and keeping the department clean, safe and organized.


QUALIFICATIONS: (Education, Certifications, Experience, Licensure)

 

Required:

 

  • Partial secondary school (Grade 10)
  • Food Handling certificate
  • Computer experience

 

Preferred:

 

  • Previous experience in a food services environment

COMPETENCIES/TECHNICAL: 

 

  • Knowledge of department policies and procedures
  • Knowledge of Meditech to print patient diet sheets
  • Proficiency in computer software applications; Microsoft Outlook, Learning Management System (LMS) Policy & Procedures

 

STARTING WAGE:

 

  • $24.65-26.31 per hour based on experience.
