Annual Tour de Meldrum Benefits Auxiliary and MHC

One weekend in June for the past 19 years, Dale Scott and several cycling enthusiasts set out on a 105 km bike ride in support of the Mindemoya Auxiliary and patient care services at Manitoulin Health Centre. This year was no different, twenty-three (23) cyclists left Mindemoya early Saturday morning, riding westward to Meldrum Bay, where they enjoyed dinner and stayed over night, before heading back to Mindemoya on Sunday.

The total donated through sponsorship and donations this year was a record $8,575. Organizer Dale Scott indicated that over the past 19 years close to $85,000 has benefitted patients of Manitoulin Health Centre.
